TransFlash memory media designed for Mobile or Portable Devices - Dec 31, 1969
The TransFlash Memory Module is an ultra small, removable flash memory module. It is similar to the SD (Secure Digital) card but smaller. Also known as miniSD card and TriFlash designs for future mobile phone products.
Currently available today 2/15/05 in the market from 64MB to 128MB capacity only. Pricing is quite reasonable at $34.99 for 64MB and $44.99 for the 128MB.
Because it is very small, TransFlash Modules are not intended to be handled or removed on a frequent basis. The TransFlash form factor will be promoted globally to other mobile phone and other portable electronic devices manufacturers.
