How to use 5Cs Diamond Finder
Instead of the usual diamond 4Cs we use 5Cs which stands for the diamond's Cut, Carat, Color, Clarity and Cost. The 5th C we have added represent the diamond's cost or price. We believe buying a diamond should involve its Cost or Price which we believe is one of the most important factor of which diamond to buy.
To use our 5Cs Diamond Finder simply follow the steps below:
- Step 1 - Selecting the Diamond Cut Shape
You can select multiple Diamond Cut Shapes but pressing on the check boxes under each diamond icon and cut shapes description. You may select more than one check box. Since we do not have enough space to display all kinds of diamond cut shapes, you may select the last check box which is 'Other' diamond cut shapes.
- Step 2 - Selecting the Diamond Carat Weight
The second most important decision when selecting which diamond to buy is the diamond's weight (Diamond Carat). To select all diamond carat weight in our database you should leave this option to 'Any' to 'Any' which is the default. Otherwise you may select a range of diamond carat weight, for example '1.0' to '1.5' carat.
- Step 3 - Selecting the Diamond Color
The third most important diamond property is the diamond's color. Diamond color grading system has been standardized by GIA Diamond Laboratory which is currently widely used by all diamond resellers. The diamond color grading system is an alphabetic range from 'D' to 'Z'. The diamond color 'D' being the best or colorless diamond to 'Z' being the worst or yellowish. If diamond color is not a concern for your diamond selection, you may select 'Any' to 'Any' to search for all kinds of diamond colors from our diamond database.
- Step 4 - Selecting the Diamond Clarity
The diamond's clarity is the last diamond characteristic that is important when selecting your preferred diamond to buy. Diamond clarity grading system has been standardized by GIA Diamond Laboratory which is currently widely used by all diamond resellers. The diamond clarity grading system is a range of several special abbreviations starting from 'FL' as the best or Flawless diamond to 'I3' Inclusions as the worst clarity diamond. If diamond clarity is not a concern for your diamond selection, you may select 'Any' to 'Any' to search for all kinds of diamond colors from our diamond database.
- Step 5 - Selecting the Diamond Cost or Price
Selecting a budget is important when buying diamond online and makes the process of finding the right diamond easier. You should already have an idea of how much money you have budgeted to spend on your diamond. You may use the drop down box to specify the diamond cost or price range. If your budget is limitless you may select 'Any' to 'Any' to search for all diamonds in our diamond database disregarding its cost or price.
